Getting a TitleMax® car title loan is simple. In the state of Texas, there are just 4 things you need to bring with you when visiting one of our locations:

1. Your Vehicle
What’s accepted:

  • Cars
  • Light-duty trucks
  • Vans
  • SUVs

2. A Lien-free Vehicle Title
What’s valid:

  • The title is the original or replacement title
  • The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the title and on the vehicle match
  • The applicant’s name (i.e. John Smith) is listed on the title as the vehicle owner in one of the following manners:
    • Applicant only (i.e. John Smith)
    • Applicant or another party (i.e. Mr. John Smith or Mrs. Jane Smith)
    • Applicant and another party (i.e. Mr. John Smith and Mrs. Jane Smith)

3. Your Government-issued ID
What’s accepted:

  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • State-issued ID
  • Matricula Consular ID card issued to Mexican foreign nationals
  • Permanent Alien Residency or Green Card

4. Proof of Income
What’s accepted:

  • Recent pay stub – Must be dated within the last 40 days

Loans above $1,000 ($500 for an in-store personal loan in AZ) require two consecutive pay stubs showing direct deposit. In-Store: Account approval requires satisfaction of all eligibility requirements, including a credit inquiry. Bring in proof of income (dated within the last 30 days), active bank account details (dated within the last 45 days), proof of residency, a voided check, and a valid government-issued ID to apply.
