Random acts of kindness bring a moment of joy to a person’s day, but instead of just a moment of joy, what if the whole day is full of joy? What if the term changed from “random acts of kindness” to “regular acts of kindness”?
Today, on World Kindness Day, try to make the world a better place. Promote good deeds and do good deeds. These random, or regular, acts of kindness won’t cost you a ton of money either. It’s free to give compliments, smile at a stranger, hold the door for someone or give up your seat on the bus.
Need more reasons to be kind today?
Doing good makes you feel good! Research show that kindness releases oxytocin, a feel-good hormone.
Kindness is contagious! Studies also show that when a person witnesses an act of kindness, they are more likely to then carry out another act of kindness.
Remember on World Kindness Day to not only be kind to others but be kind to yourself as well. Let’s make the world a kinder place starting today!
