Universe Silver™ Deposit Account
The Universe Silver™ Deposit Account provides TitleMax®customers with a new and convenient way to receive and use your funds. Instead of receiving a check that needs to be cashed at a bank, upon Universe Silver™ Account approval, customers in select states could receive their cash, loaded on to a Universe Silver™ Visa® Debit Card issued by Central Bank of Kansas City (“CBKC”) and ready to use.

How do I get a Universe Silver™ Visa® Debit Card issued by CBKC?
Once you are approved for a loan or pawn from TitleMax®, you will be able to receive your funds either as a check issued to you at the store or, if approved for a Universe Silver™ Deposit Account, you can choose to have your funds deposited to your account. You will receive a temporary Universe Silver™ Card at the store. You can begin using the card once you’ve activated it. You will receive a permanent card personalized with your name in the mail within 7-10 business days.
The Direct Deposit Account is available to all Universe Silver™ Account holders and offers exclusive benefits for Account holders who receive at least one recurring direct deposit of $200 or more every 35 days. Enabling Direct Deposit on your Universe Silver™ Account:
- Reduces the monthly account fee to $4.95
- No fees due to account inactivity
- No fees for Bank Teller Withdrawal Fees
- Eligible for enrolling in Optional Overdraft Protection4
The Direct Deposit Plus Account is available to all Universe Silver™ Account holders who receive at least one recurring direct deposit of $500 or more every 35 days. You’ll receive all the perks of the Direct Deposit Account along with these additional benefits:
- No Monthly Account Fee
- No Cost for Balance Inquiries done at Out-of-Network ATM’s
- Eligibility to sign up for optional Overdraft Protection
For Account holders who have established direct deposit, we may approve purchase transactions that create up to a $15 negative balance. You will not be charged a fee for use of the purchase cushion. This benefit is offered to eligible accounts that are in good standing and have been open for at least 30 days, and we have confirmed you have completed at least one recurring direct deposit. You may only have one negative balance of up to $15 at a time.
Optional Overdraft Protection
Direct Deposit account holders are eligible to enroll in Overdraft Protection4 with a minimum qualifying direct deposit providing peace of mind.
If you have a Direct Deposit Account, an overdraft fee of $15 applies to transactions that result in a negative balance of more than $15. If you have a Direct Deposit Plus Account, the overdraft fee applies to transactions that result in a negative balance of more than $25.

2 In order for you to be paid early, your payroll or benefits payment provider must submit the deposit early. It is important to note that your payroll or benefits payment provider may not submit the deposit or payment early each payment period. Be sure to ask your payroll or benefits payment provider when they submit your deposit information to the bank for processing. Early deposit of funds will begin upon the 2nd qualifying deposit. A qualifying deposit is defined as a direct deposit greater than $5.00 received from the same payer.
3 Fees up to $4.95 required. Deposit and card balance limits apply. Active card in your name and identity verification required. Money is typically available within 10 minutes.
4 Transactions covered by overdraft protection are debit card transactions. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay a transaction that could overdraw your account, your transaction will be declined. We will charge you a fee of $15 each time we pay a transaction that overdraws your deposit account by more than $15, up to 4 times monthly. The $15 fee will not be charged if your deposit account balance at the end of the day, after all items have posted, is brought back to a positive balance of $0 or greater. Please refer to your Deposit Account Agreement for additional details regarding fees.
